A warm and friendly Chapter, with 18 members, Princess Louise meets on the second Tuesday of most months at 3:00 pm on the Upper East Side of Manhattan. A recent Holiday Fundraiser was held in co-operation with the Penny Lane Chapter and offered festive food, raffles, and silent auctions. Our current fundraising supports Victoria Home Cares in its work to assist the needy elderly in New York.

Chapter meetings consist of a planning session, plus discussion of current British trends as well as presentations by members or guests on specific topics of interest. A recent fascinating talk was given by a member who had worked in the London fashion industry during the “swinging sixties” and included anecdotes about dressing the Queen and others in the Royal Family. Our meetings always close with an hour of fellowship when we enjoy each other’s company with light refreshments, wine, tea, and coffee. New members are welcomed warmly, and many activities are in development for the years ahead.
